Grand Theft Auto VI follows two playable protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, in the state of Leonida, centered on Vice City. It releases on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This guide sticks to what Rockstar has officially confirmed.
The setting
GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a fictional U.S. state, centered on Vice City. The Keys (including Key Lento) are also officially named. Rockstar has not yet revealed the full map.
The protagonists
You play as Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Lucia is the first playable female lead in a mainline Grand Theft Auto game. Their full names and backstories were revealed with Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025.
Release date
GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no announced PC version yet.
