Every GTA 6 Trailer So Far: A Full Recap
Rockstar has released two official GTA 6 trailers: Trailer 1 on December 5, 2023, which revealed Vice City, Leonida and Lucia; and Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025, which confirmed the protagonists' full names and the supporting cast. A third trailer is widely expected but has not been dated.
Trailer 1 — December 5, 2023
The first official trailer revealed Grand Theft Auto VI, confirming a return to Vice City in the fictional state of Leonida and giving a first look at protagonist Lucia. It originally pointed to a 2025 release window.
Trailer 2 — May 6, 2025
The second trailer arrived alongside an update to the official GTA VI website. It confirmed the protagonists' full names — Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos — with official backstories, and introduced the supporting cast: Cal Hampton, Brian Heder, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, the rap duo Real Dimez and Raul Bautista.
Trailer 3 — expected, not dated
Take-Two has signalled that GTA 6's marketing campaign starts around the start of summer 2026, so a third trailer is widely expected. Rockstar has not announced a date — treat any 'Trailer 3 date' as a rumour until Rockstar posts it.
